An aquaculture workshop will be presented November 12 by the NCSU Marine Aquaculture Research Center. Research and extension specialists Steve Hall and Mike Frinsko will provide classroom and hands-on training using Artemia sp. as an important live-feed used in many marine hatcheries. The workshop will overview strategies and methods helpful in Artemia hatching and feeding , especially in the larviculture of marine finfish. The program is designed for fish culturists and hatchery personal wanting additional training on live feed production.
Registration closes on Monday, November 3rd, 2025 or when the class is full, whichever is first. Please see the Artemia Workshop agenda linked below for more information.
- FEE: $20 per participants (Covers materials, break snacks, and lunch)
Spots are limited. - Ages: 18+ and recommended for aquaculture producers, hatchery managers, and researchers.
